As the police emphasized, his actions could have tragic consequences and, fortunately, no one was injured.

During the trial, Adam P. confessed to dangerous car driving, damage to property and attempted arson, causing a threat to his life. As he explained, the reason for his actions was the resentment he felt towards the police in connection with previous contacts with her, including in particular after his car was stolen and not found.

He also revealed that he had planned to carry out this attack for about 2.5 years, and that the day – when the anniversary of the end of World War I is celebrated in Great Britain, and Independence Day in Poland – and that he chose the hour specially, because the numbers 1 and 7 are of special importance to him. In addition to an indefinite stay in a psychiatric hospital, he was punished with the loss of his driving license for 12 months.
