The police found the bodies on Saturday at around 1.15pm local time. Surrey Police confirmed that three boys – everyone under the age of four – were related to the man and informed that at this stage of the investigation she believes it was an “isolated incident in which no third parties were involved”.
Because the bodies have not yet been formally identified, police have not released any names, but British media did so late Sunday afternoon, also posting photos of the victims.
The police reported that the immediate family, including mother of boys, was informed about the incident and provided with psychological care. Due to the earlier contact between officers and the family, the IOPC, an independent body supervising police activities, was informed about the case.

The “Metro” newspaper spoke with a neighbor of the Polish family. She said that shortly before the police arrived at the scene at around 12 o'clock, she heard “terrifying screams” of a woman. – It's unbelievable and traumatic, we are still in shock. They were three beautiful children. We often saw them playing – the British press quotes a local resident.
– I didn't see my father very often.but the children and their mother were very active and happy – said another neighbor. The man also confirmed that he heard disturbing voices from the Poles' house. – It was really terrifying screaming, so everyone went outside to see what was happening, he added.
Flowers are laid in front of the house where the tragedy took place. Signs have also been placed: “Rest in peace, kids” and “we will always think of you.”
The police emphasize that the detailed circumstances of the death will be explainedand four bodies will undergo an autopsy.
