On Monday in Bury, a tribute was paid to a 35-year-old Pole who was beaten to death outside a bar in the city center. Two men were arrested in connection with the incident. The 21-year-old was released on bail while the 19-year-old remains in custody.

The family of a 35-year-old Pole who died on Saturday in Bury, UK, described him as “liked by everyone”, reports the BBC. It was mentioned that he had a young son and added that the family is “devastated by the news of his death and find it hard to imagine life without him.”

British police say a 19-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a fight outside a bar in the center of Bury and the investigation is continuing. A 21-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of assault in connection with the incident, but was released on bail.

Police said the Pole fell to the ground after being punched. Before he was taken to the hospital, he was treated by officers and paramedics at the scene.

Statement of the representative of the Pole’s family

The family representative said that “Piotr was loved by his family and friends. He was a great personality, he loved to make people laugh, he certainly made his partner and son smile every day.”

“Piotr was liked by everyone he met, both in Great Britain and in Poland. He was a gentleman, always willing to help anyone who needed help” – he emphasized.

“He worked hard to provide for his family and was never happier than when he was spending time with them,” he added.
