“We did it.” Is the job market in Poland recovering?
Analysts remind us that in the autumn the declines reached as much as 27%. What is more, the trend has gone up for another month in a row, i.e. the average annual dynamics for the last three months increased in July from -6 to -4%. As the authors of the report point out, for the first time since April last year, the recruitment market saw a long-awaited thaw in July, i.e. a break in the downward trend on an annual basis.
Although in recent months the dynamics of the number of job offers we have analyzed have been increasing, we were cautious about drawing clear, optimistic conclusions on this basis. We were afraid that these were just seasonal fluctuations. The latest readings mean that it is time to clearly state: we did it. It seems that the labor market in Poland has actually already overcome its last low, caused by the war in Ukraine, the energy crisis and the inflation shock.
