The bodies of three people – a married couple and their adult son – were found on Wednesday afternoon in a house in Stęszew (Greater Poland Voivodeship). The police said that according to preliminary findings, the couple was killed and their 29-year-old son committed suicide.

Subinspector Iwona Liszczyńska from the press office of the Wielkopolska Police informed that the officers were notified on Wednesday around 5 p.m. about the discovery of three bodies in one of the houses in Stęszew.

– Initial findings indicate that a 52-year-old woman and a 54-year-old man were murdered. The victims were found with cuts and stab wounds. The couple's 29-year-old son committed suicide, she reported.

Liszczyńska added that the murder weapon was discovered at the scene. The house was locked from the inside. The bodies were found by the daughter of the deceased couple and her partner. Actions were initiated on site with the participation of the prosecutor and a forensic doctor.
