Greek police are looking for a man who failed to pay a nightclub bill. Among other things, he bought two bottles of champagne for 30,000 euros each.
Police on the Greek island of Mykonos are looking for a man who left a nightclub without paying a 70,000-euro bill, the Greek Reporter website reported on Friday.
According to local media, the man, spending an evening with friends at a nightclub, opened two bottles of luxury champagne worth 30,000 euros and threw one of them into the pool. His companions also drank other drinks and ate sushi. The final bill came to 100,000 euros.
The customer paid only 30 thousand euros and left the premises. The club manager called the police. The media reported that the customer was an Israeli businessman, but his identity was not disclosed. He is wanted for questioning.
Mykonos is an island in the Aegean Sea visited by celebrities and very popular among tourists.
