The bartender mixed up the ingredients

The bartender who prepared the drinks has already been questioned by the police. According to media reports, he told the officers that to prepare the drink he used, among others, of the popular Greek alcohol, tsikoudia, in the fridge. However, it turned out that the bottle of this alcohol actually contained another liquid.

Initial examination of the contents of the bottle showed that it was detergent. The liquid was a powerful cleaning agent that could cause serious internal injuries in humans if ingested. Further samples are to be taken from the barium to determine the exact composition of this liquid. According to the media, the bar has temporarily suspended its operations.

Investigators are trying to determine how such a dangerous situation could have occurred and where the bottled detergent was found in the bar's refrigerator. The hotel is a popular holiday destination, serving hundreds of tourists each holiday season.
