The municipality of Rhodes in Greece has honoured a British couple who have visited the island more than a hundred times. The awarded Britons have been visiting Rhodes four or five times a year since the 1990s and always choose the same hotel.
Rhodes authorities announced on Monday that the British couple had been awarded a platinum record as part of their distinction.
“The Choice of Our Hearts”
Dedicated guests who always choose the same hotel plan to buy a house on the island in the future.
– Rhodes is the choice of our hearts, this is Rhodes we want to show to our compatriots – said the couple, thanking for the distinction.
The tourists added that they loved Rhodes “with its exceptional hospitality.”
Rhodes, part of the Dodecanese archipelago in the Aegean Sea, is one of the most popular Greek islands among tourists.
