The police publishes a recording of the collision between a Lexus and a Mercedes that took place in Zielona Góra. The 20-year-old driver of the first car was fined PLN 1,500 and 10 penalty points were added to his account.
The incident took place on Monday (October 23) around 10 a.m. It was then that the police officer on duty received information that at the intersection of Bohaterów Street Westerplatte and Ułańska in Zielona Góra, there was a collision of two vehicles: a Lexus and a Mercedes. The moment of the collision was recorded by city surveillance cameras. “Thanks to this recording, there was no doubt as to how this incident occurred and who was responsible for it,” the officers emphasize.

“Despite the light traffic intensity and relatively good visibility, the 20-year-old driver of the Lexus did not exercise due caution, did not make sure that he could safely make a left turn and drove straight into the path of the oncoming Mercedes,” the police say in a statement.

As you can see in the video, after the collision the white car hit the roadside barriers. The 20-year-old was traveling with a passenger. “Fortunately, no one was injured in this incident,” the uniform said. The Lexus driver was fined PLN 5,000. What’s more, he received 10 penalty points.
