Police arrested a 34-year-old man on suspicion of possessing large amounts of drugs. According to the officers, the man was hiding the “goods” in … a doghouse.
According to Katarzyna Zych from the Poviat Police Headquarters in Grodzisk Mazowiecki, officers from the criminal department checked the address where the person wanted by the court and the prosecutor’s office could be staying. – They noticed a man who was hastily hiding something in a doghouse. The detectives immediately started checking the person and the hidden objects. It quickly turned out that they were dealing with a wanted 34-year-old who put a plastic package with dried plants in the kennel – Zych explained.
She added that the police thoroughly searched the entire property and found dried hemp stalks, and in the house, white powder scattered on a plate. All substances were secured for further research and their owner detained. – The investigation and investigative activities carried out by the policemen confirmed that the wanted man was hiding a total of over 190 grams of marijuana and a portion of amphetamine – said Katarzyna Zych.
The man was charged with drug possession. He faces three years in prison. The proceedings in this case are supervised by the District Prosecutor’s Office in Żyrardów.
