In addition, they remind the government that the finances of Grupa Azoty are suffering due to: “uncontrolled inflow of Russian fertilizers, which are also re-exported to Ukraine” and “import of plastics not burdened with climate costs”.

“Irreversible Degeneration of the Enterprise”
The anger of trade unionists was further intensified by the termination of the Collective Agreement by the management board. Work (ZUZP). This is a type of social agreement concluded between the employer and employees, represented by trade unions. Thanks to such an agreement, the method of remuneration and bonuses for employees can be better adapted to the specifics of the activity of a given entrepreneur.
“The current actions of the management board of Zakłady Azotowe Puławy, which plans to save on qualified staff by terminating Collective Labor Agreements, will lead to the irreversible degeneration of the enterprise. Hiring people from outside for exorbitant salaries for ordinary employees additionally demoralizes the Staff,” the unionists pointed out.
On Monday, a meeting between unionists and representatives of Grupa Azoty is to take place in the building of the General Directorate. “We hope that the management has understood how much good will there is for an agreement on the part of the unions and is ready for an agreement, just like us. Whether this is the case, Monday will show,” the unions announce.
