The Management Board of Grupa Azoty informed about convening an extraordinary general meeting of the company. It is scheduled for February 14 – it was announced in the stock exchange report. The agenda includes, among other things, changes in the composition of the Grupa Azoty Supervisory Board.

The management board of Grupa Azoty SA based in Tarnów announced on Wednesday that it is convening an extraordinary general meeting of the company on February 14, 2024 at 10.00 at the company’s headquarters in Tarnów, ul. Kwiatkowskiego 8. As reported, the general meeting was convened at the request of the Minister of State Assets Borys Budka.

Grupa Azoty is one of the companies with State Treasury shareholding in which the rights to shares are exercised by the head of MAP. The State Treasury has 33 percent in Grupa Azoty. shares.

The agenda of the meeting includes, among others: changes in the composition of the supervisory board and the appointment of the chairman of the supervisory board. Currently, there are eight people on the supervisory board, its chairman since January 2021 is Magdalena Butrymowicz.

Pursuant to the articles of association of Grupa Azoty, the supervisory board appoints and dismisses members of the management board.
