Gwyneth Paltrow Calls Out “Clickbaity” Response to Goop Vagina Candle

The odor of success is not all the time so candy for Gwyneth Paltrow.

Three years after her firm Goop launched a candle dubbed “This Smells Like My Vagina,” the Oscar winner shared the actual that means behind the product.

“It was a very sturdy feminist assertion,” she shared in an Instagram Tales Q&A on Aug. 30. “So many ladies have been raised—not less than in my era—to suppose there’s one thing mistaken with themselves, or that the vagina is bizarre or gross or one thing to be ashamed of. And so the candle was imagined to be a really sturdy, punk rock sort of ‘F you’ to anybody who ever made us really feel like that.”

Explaining that the candle “was not supposed to really odor like anybody’s vagina,” Gwyneth known as out how tabloid protection of it was “so clickbaity” and “individuals tried to make it about one thing else.”
