PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti — Haitian legislation enforcement authorities mentioned a person belonging to a violent gang accused of kidnapping 4 U.S. residents has been extradited to the U.S.
Haiti’s Nationwide Police mentioned Tuesday that Jhon Peter Fleronvil is affiliated with the gang often called “Kokorat San Ras,” roughly translated to imply “Cohorts of No Race.”
Fleronvil was extradited on Monday and faces fees of abducting 4 U.S. residents in Haiti’s central Artibonite area in July 2022, police mentioned.
Fleronvil was arrested in September within the northern coastal city of Fort Liberte as he tried to flee to the close by border with the Dominican Republic, authorities mentioned.
