Hundreds of people were killed on Tuesday in Israeli shelling of a hospital in Gaza, said authorities responsible for the health sector in the Gaza Strip controlled by the terrorist Hamas. The UN said the Israeli attack also hit one of the schools that served as a shelter.
The defense chief of the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip told Al Jazeera that more than 300 people died in a Gaza hospital. A health ministry official said that at least 500 people were killed or injured.
The Israeli military said it had no information about the attack.

Also on Tuesday, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) said that an Israeli airstrike also hit one of the schools that served as a shelter for displaced people. At least six people died.
