Hamburg. German police action in one of the schools, a teacher was threatened with a gun

A special police unit intervened in one of the schools in Hamburg. Two teenagers allegedly threatened a teacher at a school in the Blankenese district with a gun. Officers detained suspects who were carrying toy weapons, the website of the weekly “Spiegel” reported.

In the morning, a representative of the school in Blankenese alerted the police because two people had allegedly entered the classroom and threatened the teacher with a firearm. They then fled in an unknown direction. Shortly thereafter, police began cordoning off the school grounds. Then, special police units searched the school building and classrooms. Regardless, according to the police, there was also a threat in the Bahrenfeld district in the early afternoon. Civilian investigators detained two 12-year-olds, a 13-year-old and a 14-year-old. It turned out that a 12-year-old and a 13-year-old may also be responsible for the situation in Blankenese. Their toy weapons were confiscated.

The Blankenese district is located on the Elbe and is considered quite affluent. There are approximately 1,150 students in the local district school.
