On the night from Friday to Saturday in Harmęże near Oświęcim in Lesser Poland there was a tragic accident. The sports Renault first overturned, then hit a power pole. The driver and two passengers of the vehicle were killed, police said.
The incident took place on ul. Borowski around 3.30 am. As initially established, the driver of a Renault Megane car fell off the road for unknown reasons on a bend in the road.
– The driver of the Renault car lost control of the vehicle, as a result of which it ran off the road and hit a power pole – informed the asp in an interview with tvn24.pl. staff. Małgorzata Jurecka, Press Officer of the Poviat Police Commander in Oświęcim.

As a result of the accident, three men died – the driver and two passengers. – Personalities are determined due to the fact that they did not have any identity documents with them – Jurecka said. She added that the victims were probably between 20 and 30 years old. There is no information about the injured.
The Małopolska police reported that the Renault in which the men were traveling came from a rental company.
It is not known what caused the accident. All services and the prosecutor are on the scene.
The road from Oświęcim to Wola is to be blocked for several more hours.
