HBO Max’s first documentary series shows the stories of Polish drag queens and burlesque performers. The production has already premiered at the Millennium Docs Against Gravity festival. This is one of five new series that will appear on HBO Max in June.

Paweł, a bank employee, accompanies his boyfriend Gąś on a trip to a burlesque festival in Prague. The five-episode series stars the icons of the scene: Kim Lee, Betty Q, Stara, Pin Up Candy, Red Juliette, Kali Katharsis, Gąsiu, Bunny de Lish and Hieemeras. “The series is about freedom, love and the courage to be yourself, and our characters are trans, non-binary, bi, feminist and gay. We also have a church, a parade, women’s marches… – says Dellfina Dellert, who wrote and directed the series together with Agnieszka Mazanek.

This is a story about ordinary people who unexpectedly went to court as defendants.

The continuation of the story of friends from New York is to be, according to the creators, “a return to the roots”. Fans of “Sex and the City” have long been living with information (still unconfirmed) that Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Aidan Shaw (John Corbett) will become a couple again after many years. Their photos from a walk on the New York promenade have already appeared on social media. In the cast “And just like that… 2” the actors known from the first season will appear. Samantha Jones will also be back. According to The New York Post, Kim Cattrall is set to appear in a short scene in the finale. The second season has eleven episodes. The first two will be available on the day of release.
