Nick Kyrgios's unsuccessful return to the court
The 29-year-old recently returned to the court after 18 months and took part in the first round of the ATP 250 tournament in Brisbane. Nick Kyrgios responded with “only” 15 points scored directly from the serve. This was not enough and after almost three hours the meeting ended the score was 2:1 for the Frenchman.
An unpleasant incident occurred during this meeting. After one of the passes, the Australian was hit by the ball, which TennisTV commented: “Ouch, that must have hurt.” One user of the website X (formerly Twitter) replied to the entry that the Frenchman should “hit him harder”.
