A policeman from Sosnowiec stopped a drunk driver of a tow truck who came to tow his broken car. The man had almost 2.5 per mille of alcohol in his blood.
While on vacation, the car belonging to the head of the criminal department of police station I in Sosnowiec broke down. A tow truck had to be called.
“The police officer quickly realized that the man who arrived at the scene in an Opel Movano may have been under the influence of alcohol. His suspicions were confirmed when he called a police patrol to the scene,” the Provincial Police Headquarters in Katowice reported.
A breathalyzer test showed that the driver had nearly 2.5 per mille of alcohol in his system. For driving under the influence of alcohol, the man could face up to three years in prison.
