Artur Orzech has been associated with the media for several decades. He has been commenting since 1992 (with short breaks). Eurovision Song Contest and it was this activity that brought him great recognition. But we could also hear his voice in many radio and television programs. From March 2024, he again became the host of “Szansa na success” on TVP2. However, few people know that in the 1980s he created hits that will remain in the history of Polish rock forever. Artur Orzech was a rock star in the 1980s. He recorded cult albums and then chose a different path

Lovers Eurovision they sincerely loved Artur Orzech's sarcastic comments and interesting anecdotes from the world of music, which he regaled Polish viewers with during the popular competition for many years. In the years 2021–2023, Orzech commented on the competition on his YouTube channel, and in 2024 he again became the official voice of Eurovision.. However, not everyone knows that before Orzech became a presenter and journalist, he was closely involved with music. December 13, 1983 year, his classmate, Piotr Klatt, founded a band Roses of Europe. Shortly afterwards, Orzech joined him and became the band's guitarist. Moreover, on the band's first two albums, he created flagship songs of Polish rock, such as “List do Gertrudy Burgund” and “Stańcie przed lustrów”, which were included on two albums – “Stańcie przed lustrami” and “Krew Marilyn Monroe”, which he recorded together with the team. In 1989, he left the Roses of Europe to pursue a scientific career. – I left the Róże Europa team when I was offered a job at the university. I figured that it is impossible to combine concerts with work as a scientist. I didn't want to travel around Poland black skin, with a guitar in hand, and pretend to be an eternally young musician – he confessed years later in a conversation with Pomponik.

Artur Orzech became a rock'n'roller again after many years. He returned to the band after over 30 years

After Artur Orzech left the band, Róże Europa recorded nine more albums – including the album “Poganie! Kochaj i opowiedzi”, which included “Jedwab”, the group's biggest hit. In 2023, Orzech rejoined the parent group. – After all these years, and more precisely since 1990, Artur returns to the band. We cordially invite you to our joint concerts.
