During his stay in one of the water parks, he noticed that someone was lying at the bottom of the pool. He jumped into the water and pulled the 15-year-old out. The boy was taken to the hospital, unconscious.

On a day off from duty, the Warsaw policeman rested with his family in one of the water parks near Warsaw. He noticed a man lying at the bottom of one of the pools.

– He reacted immediately, gave his daughter to a random person, and dived himself. He pulled an unconscious young man out of the water and then, on the wall surrounding the swimming pool, started resuscitation – says Edyta Adamus from the Warsaw Police in a statement.

A teenager’s fight for life

– After a long time, the policeman’s constant attempt to restore the young man’s breathing brought the expected results. With his decisive action, the policeman restored the 15-year-old’s heart rate and then moved him to a safe place, where, with the help of a paramedic, he was given oxygen until the arrival of medical services – adds Edyta Adamus.

A 15-year-old with restored vital functions, but still unconscious, was taken to one of Warsaw’s hospitals.

On Sunday morning, the boy’s mother contacted the police officer to thank him for saving her son’s life. It turned out that the boy regained consciousness and was able to talk.

– The officer’s attitude deserves the highest recognition – emphasizes Edyta Adamus.
