The police detained a 46-year-old Volkswagen van driver, who drove through Wodzisław Śląski, Radlin and Rybnik, ramming and destroying what was in his way. “He damaged about 10 vehicles, then hit a road sign and a fence of the property,” says the police in the published communiqué.
Volkswagen's crazy ride, as the police report, began around 14.30. At that time, the driver of the Volkswagen Transporter was driving along Pszowska Street in Wodzisław. Then he was rushing Matuszczyk, on March 26 and on Rybnicka Street in Radlin. Finally, he entered Rybnik. In the city, on Wodzisławska Street, he caused a series of road collisions.

“He was driving at a very mad speed. A little bit unusual, because he jumped on the mulds that are on the sidewalks. He was driving a part of the pavement and part of the road. I noticed that he mowed two signs (…) he left marks. 90.

Arrested
The police say that the driver damaged about ten vehicles and finally stopped on the fence of one of the properties. “He got out of the vehicle and began to run away from the police on foot. He was detained a few minutes later.
The 46-year-old was sober, but the police suspect that he could be under the influence of another psychoactive substance.
“He will be detained and his blood will be taken for testing,” reports the police in a statement.
Nobody suffered in the event.
