It was a classic “cop scam.” A man posing as a police officer convinced a woman that her money was at risk. She withdrew her savings and left them at an agreed location. The man picked them up. He didn't know he was being recorded.

The crime took place on October 2, 2023 in Radom. A fraudster posing as a police officer called the resident. The woman, following the instructions, withdrew the money that was supposedly at risk from the bank and left it at the building on Żeromskiego Street. The man collected it.
