Mesko will employ hundreds of new people
The Mesko Ammunition Zakłady in Skarżysko-Kamienna will employ this year About 220 new employees. All in connection with the completion of “Project 400” and “Project 44.7” – informs Radio Kielce. – The completion of the investment and the launch of modern technological lines in 2025 and 2026 will allow Mesko SA to strengthen the position of one of the most modern ammunition and rocket production plants in Europe. On the one hand, the company will increase the volume of 155 mm ammunition and other key combat means, on the other, it will also become an independent producer of energy components – said President Renata Gruszczyńska.
What are “400” and “44.7” projects?
“Project 400” has been implemented since 2019. Investment Warta PLN 466.7 million It includes the construction of 20 buildings and over 1,000 machines and devices for the production of low, medium-, large-caliber ammunition and rockets in Skarżysko-Kamienna. In addition, Mesko acquires competences in the area of production of polygonal gunpowder and self -shells. Mesko increases production
This is another developmental Mesko project. Completion of the investment is scheduled for the third quarter of 2027. The MESKO Capital Group is currently the only 155 mm ammunition entity in Poland.
