“On August 8, 2024, the District Prosecutor's Office in Krosno received a report from the forensic medical examination and autopsy of Jerzy Krzanowski, along with an opinion prepared by experts in the field of forensic medicine from the Department and The Plant Forensic Medicine at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow” – informed the spokeswoman of the prosecutor's office, Marta Kolendowska-Matejczuk. government website gov.pl.

“Based on the results of the autopsy, the experts concluded that Jerzy Krzanowski died as a result of multiple injuries to the head and chest, which could have been caused by a fall,” the release reads.
“At the current stage of the investigation, the prosecutor of the District Prosecutor's Office in Krosno requested supplementation of the opinion, including in the scope of the additional medical documentation of Jerzy Krzanowski collected” – it was added further. Importantly, the spokeswoman for the prosecutor's office emphasized that “further information in the case will be provided after the experts supplement the opinion”.
Krzanowski died in June 2024. He was one of the richest Poles
