The NASK Disinformation Analysis Center identified ads on social media that can be financed from abroad, and their purpose is to influence the ongoing election campaign in Poland. The institution has notified the Internal Security Agency.
Tomasz Siemoniak emphasized that ABW is dealing with this matter because he is responsible for security, including cybernetic ones.
– I contacted the head of the Internal Security Agency, this signal, the NASK report is treated very seriously and at that moment the activities are ongoing to determine whether we are really dealing with such an attempt to interfere, which at first glance seems sophisticated, because it is an attempt to show that one of the candidates receives financing for certain actions – he added.
As he emphasized, this is “a serious matter” because “we have very little time to choose and such things must be done quickly”. He added that the head of the Internal Security Agency, Col. Rafał Syrysko, “he knows perfectly well that this is a priority matter.”
