Spain is experiencing a heatwave. Two people have died from heatstroke in recent days, local media reported.

Temperatures in parts of Spain are set to exceed 40 degrees Celsius this week, with heat warnings in place for nine regions.

On Friday, after two days of searching, the body of a man in his 70s was found. The resident of the Seville area went for a walk alone on a hot day and suffered a heat stroke. Local media reported that this was the first death toll from the summer heatwave.

A 43-year-old man has also died as a result of the high temperatures in the past few days. He is a worker who suffered a heart attack while working on a construction site in Madrid.
