Hereford and Plumpton name inspections as racecourses put together for freezing temperatures | Racing Information

Monday’s assembly at Hereford and Tuesday’s fixture at Plumpton are each topic to morning inspections as racecourses throughout Britain brace themselves for freezing temperatures this week.

Whereas racing over the weekend was unaffected, a forecast for snow and ice within the coming days seems to be set to have a big impression on the Nationwide Hunt programme.

An 8am precautionary inspection has been known as forward of Hereford’s Monday jumps card, however clerk of the course John Holliday is “optimistic” racing will go forward.
