On Friday, Honorata Krysiewicz was dismissed from the supervisory board of Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego. The decision on this matter was made by Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

Honorata Krysiewicz joined the supervisory board of BGK in July 2020. Krysiewicz was appointed to this position by the then Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. Now the prime minister Donald Tusk decided to cancel it.

“Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego informs that Prime Minister Donald Tusk dismissed Honorata Krysiewicz from the Supervisory Board of BGK as of March 15, 2024,” we read in Friday's stock exchange report.

This is another change in the management of BGK. At the beginning of January this year. Beata Daszyńska-Muzyczka was dismissed from the position of president of the bank's management board. Jerzy Szmit also said goodbye to the BGK supervisory board.

Who is Honorata Krysiewicz?

During the rule of Law and Justice, Honorata Krysiewicz worked in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister – as Director of the Government Work Programming Department and Secretary of the Government Work Programming Team, and as Deputy Director of the Department of Parliamentary Affairs.

Moreover, in 2017-2018 she served as Director of the Sports Infrastructure Department at the Ministry of Sport and Tourism. From 2016 to 2017, she headed the Sports Department at the Opole City Hall.

Krysiewicz is a graduate of the University of Warsaw, majoring in journalism, social communication and European studies. “Ms. Honorata Krysiewicz also obtained an Executive Master of Business Administration diploma from Collegium Humanum, Warsaw School of Management,” the BGK management board previously informed in the report.

Collegium Humanum under the microscope

Collegium Humanum was established in 2018 in Warsaw. Journalists, among others “Newsweek” found that the private university offered instant courses that allowed you to obtain an MBA diploma. Such diplomas make it easier, among other things, to: path to supervisory boards of State Treasury companies.

February 21 this year officers of the Central Anticorruption Bureau detained six people associated with the authorities of the Collegium Humanum university. They were charged with participating in an organized criminal group aimed at committing crimes involving issuing false documents confirming the completion of postgraduate studies and accepting material and personal benefits in connection with this.

The head of an organized crime group, Paweł Cz. in connection with his performance as rector of a private university, the prosecutor accused him of committing a total of 30 crimes, including misappropriation of property to the detriment of the university, abuse of the relationship of official dependence and causing other people to have sexual intercourse or undergo other sexual acts, as well as making threats against witnesses in order to influence their testimony in the case.

CBA officers detained two more people in connection with receiving material and personal benefits. The arrests are related to illegal trade in diplomas by the private university Collegium Humanum, it was reported on Friday Central Anticorruption Bureau.
