On Monday, the National Electoral Commission published on its website the results from 100 percent of voting districts in the second round of local elections. Voter turnout – according to these data – was 44.06 percent.

The National Electoral Commission data came from 11,888 out of 11,888 (100 percent) voting precincts. The number of cards issued was 5,310,432. There were people entitled to vote in the second round of local government elections 12,051,596.

The highest turnout was recorded in the Lublin Voivodeship – 48.12 percent. The lowest – in Lower Silesia – 41.37.

The head of the National Electoral Commission, Sylwester Marciniak, announced on Sunday evening that all polling stations were closed after the end of voting at 21, at this time the electoral silence also ended. He also thanked voters who “despite the bad weather conditions and decided to vote.” The National Electoral Commission also announced that by 18, 138 crimes and offenses were recorded in connection with the second round of local government elections.

On Sunday, in the second round of local government elections, commune heads, mayors and presidents were elected in 748 communes and cities. The voting took place, among others: in 60 presidential cities, including nine provincial cities: Gorzów Wielkopolski, Kielce, Kraków, Olsztyn, Poznań, Rzeszów, Toruń, Wrocław and Zielona Góra.
