During a police inspection in Hrubieszów (Lublin Voivodeship), it turned out that the bus carrying children lacked appropriate markings. Without thinking much, the driver grabbed a screwdriver and – together with one of the parents – attached the sign.

The police were checking the technical condition of the bus in which the children were supposed to go on a trip when they noticed that the vehicle did not have the appropriate marking – a sign informing that children were transported in it.

As Staff Aspirant Edyta Krystkowiak from the District Police Headquarters in Hrubieszów writes in a statement, the driver, without thinking much, grabbed a screwdriver and – together with one of his parents – attached the plate to the bus.

“(…) with the plate attached in this way, he set off with his children and guardians on a long-awaited trip,” the policewoman emphasizes.

It also encourages people to submit buses for inspection.

“After such an inspection, we can be sure that our children will go on holiday in a technically efficient vehicle, and the driver carrying them is sober and has the appropriate license. The inspection can be reported to the police by the organizer of the trip, parents or guardians,” notes Asp. pcs. Krystkowiak.
