The remnants of Hurricane Ida, which hit Louisiana on August 29, have reached the northeastern regions of the United States in recent days. There it brought heavy rainfall. The extent of the flooding can be seen in the satellite photos.

The element brought catastrophic floods and tornadoes killing several dozen people. The states of New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland were the hardest hit. Huge flooding was also reported in New York.

One of the cities that has suffered the most is New Brunswick. The following photos were taken in the Memorial Parkway area.

Ida is the fifth strongest storm ever to hit the American continent.
