Part of Gran Canaria was hit by catastrophic floods. In the Telde commune, one of the residents helped a woman out of the car when a swollen water was raging around. Dramatic moments were captured on the recording.
Flight floods hit the Telde commune on Monday, located on the Spanish Gran Canaria. They were a consequence of a violent stormwhich brought heavy rainfall to this region. Dozens of cars were kidnapped by flood waters mixed with mud and debris. One of the inhabitants of this commune – Ramon Vera – faced the element. He helped a woman imprisoned in a car to get outside.

The rescue operation carried out by the man was captured on the recording. At the beginning you can see how flood waters kidnap one car first. After a while we see more vehicles on it, in one of them someone was. Vera ran to the car, opened the door and helped the woman get out of oppression.
The flood swept several cars, in one of them there was a woman. I couldn't believe there was someone imprisoned there, “he said in an interview with Reuters Ramon Vera. “I'm happy and I feel relief,” he added.
