The man in Milan gave himself to the police. “I'm sick of theft, arrest me,” he told officers at the police station. In the past months he made a series of seizures for cosmetics and clothes in the city center.

Italian media report that last year the unemployed 24-year-old spent six months in prison for the previous theft in the store at the railway station. After being released, he returned to criminal activity.

When he reported to the Milan police station, he was to say that he wanted to break with his current life, but he is afraid that he would not be able to free himself from the impulse to steal further. He was also to assure police officers that he had a great sense of guilt because of what he was doing.
