IMGW has issued first degree alerts against heavy rainfall. Up to 50 liters of water per square meter can fall in places. Check where the aura will be dangerous.

Forecasters of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) issued weather warnings.

IMGW alerts – heavy rainfall

Level 1 heavy rain alerts have been issued in the province Subcarpathianin the counties: Bieszczady, Lesko, Sanok, Brzozów, Przemyśl, Industry.

Moderate rainfall is forecast, with heavy periods with a total of 35-50 liters of water per square meter.

Alerts will be valid from 8 p.m. on Saturday to 8 p.m. 10 am on Sunday.

What is the first degree IMGW meteorological warning

The first degree warning provides for conditions conducive to the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena that may cause material damage and threat to health and life.
