IMGW issued frost warnings for the whole country. Temperatures in the night from Sunday to Monday in some parts of the country can drop to -5 degrees Celsius near the ground.

Forecasters of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) issued weather warnings.

IMGW alerts – frost

Level 1 frost warnings have been issued for the whole country. The air temperature is forecast to drop from -2 to 2 degrees Celsius, at the ground to -5 to -3 degrees Celsius. The temperature is to reach the lowest values ​​in the northern and southern regions.

The alerts will take effect between 0.30 am and 2 am from Sunday to Monday and will expire at 10.30 am. 6.30 on Monday.

What is the first degree IMGW meteorological warning

The first degree warning provides for conditions conducive to the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena that may cause material damage and threat to health and life. Expect difficulties resulting from activities in the area where the threat occurs, including delays caused by traffic obstructions, disruptions in the course of outdoor events or the possibility of their cancellation.
