IMGW forecasters have issued first-degree frost warnings. Temperatures are forecast to drop below freezing in parts of the country. Check where to be careful.

The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management warns of frost in part of the country.

Alarms IMGW of the first degree before apply in the following voivodeships:

warmińsko-mazurskiein northern poviats;

Podlaskiein northern and central poviats;

Lesser Polandin southern poviats;

Lower Silesiain the southern counties.

A drop in air temperature to about 2 degrees Celsius is forecast, locally to -2 degrees Celsius near the ground.

The alerts will be valid from 1-5.30 on Sunday.

What is the first degree IMGW meteorological warning

The first degree warning provides for conditions conducive to the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena that may cause material damage and threat to health and life. Running a business in conditions of exposure to these factors is difficult and dangerous. Expect difficulties resulting from activities in the area where the threat occurs, including delays caused by traffic obstructions, disruptions in the course of outdoor events or the possibility of their cancellation. Caution recommended, the need to follow messages and weather developments.
