IMGW warns against violent weather. First degree alarms for hail storms have been issued in parts of the country. Check where the aura can take its toll.
Synoptics of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management have published first degree meteorological warnings.
First degree IMWM alerts – hail storms
Synoptics issued warnings for voivodships:
– Pomeranianin eastern counties;
– Silesianin northern counties;
Thunderstorms are projected, in some places accompanied by heavy rainfall of up to about 20 liters of water per square meter, and wind gusts of up to 70 kilometers per hour. Hail is expected in places.
In most provinces, the alerts will be valid from 8 on Monday, only in Małopolska and Podkarpacie will apply two hours later. Alarms will expire at 20 on Monday.
What is the first degree meteorological warning from the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management
The first level warning provides for conditions conducive to the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena that may cause material damage and threat to health and life. Conducting activities in conditions of exposure to these factors is difficult and dangerous. Expect difficulties resulting from carrying out activities in the area of risk, including delays caused by road traffic obstructions, disruptions in the course of outdoor events or the possibility of their cancellation. Caution recommended, need to follow news and weather developments.
