IMWM issued warnings against hail storms. Yellow alerts will be valid on Saturday for all provinces. Storms are to be accompanied by heavy rainfall in some places.

First degree IMWM alerts – hail storms
First degree warnings before storms with hail apply to the entire area of provinces: West Pomeranian Voivodeship, Pomeranian, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, Podlasie, Masovian, Lublin, Świętokrzyskie, Łódź, Greater Polandin most of the provinces Lubuskie and in the northern poviats of voivodships: Lower Silesia, Opole, Silesian, Lesser Poland and Podkarpackie.
Thunderstorms are projected, occasionally accompanied by heavy rainfall of up to 15-20 liters of water per square meter, and wind gusts of up to 85 kilometers per hour. Hail is possible in some places.
In the northwest of the country, alerts will go into effect at 10am on Saturday, in eastern regions at 16, while in other places at On the same day. The alerts will expire at Saturday 19-21.
What is the first degree meteorological warning from the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management
The first level warning provides for conditions conducive to the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena that may cause property damage and a threat to health and life. Conducting activities in conditions of exposure to these factors is difficult and dangerous. Expect difficulties resulting from carrying out activities in the area of risk, including delays caused by road traffic obstructions, disruptions in the course of outdoor events or the possibility of their cancellation.
