Forecasters from the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management issued first and second degree meteorological warnings on a three-stage, ascending scale.

Second degree heat warnings are in force in the following provinces: Lubuskie (in the Wschowa county), Greater Poland (except northern poviats), Kuyavian-Pomeranian (except northern poviats), warmińsko-mazurskie (except north-western poviats), Podlaskie, mazowieckie, Lublin, Świętokrzyskie, Lodz, Opole, Lower Silesia (except for southern poviats), Silesian (outside the Żywiec poviat), Lesser Poland (except for the following poviats: Tatrzański, Nowy Targ, Nowy Sącz, Nowy SaczGorlice) and Subcarpathian (except for the following poviats: Jasło, Krosno, loomSanok, Lesko, Bieszczady).

Heat warnings have been issued for some places. These apply in the following provinces: Silesian (Żywiec county), Lesser Poland (districts: Nowy Targ, Nowy Sącz, Nowy Sącz, Gorlice) i Subcarpathian (districts: Jasielski, Krosno, Krosno, Sanok, Lesko, Bieszczady).
