The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management issued heat warnings in two provinces in the south-west of the country. At the beginning of next week, thunderstorms with hail are possible in many regions, according to the IMGW threat forecast.
Forecasters of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) issued warnings and a weather forecast for Monday and Tuesday.
IMGW alerts – heat
First degree heat warnings on a three-stage ascending scale have been issued for the following provinces:
– Lower Silesiafor the counties: Lubin, Wołowski, Trzebnica, Milicz, Oleśnicki, Oławski, Wrocław, WroclawŚroda, Legnica, LegnicaJawor, Świdnica, Dzierżoniów, Strzelin and Ząbkowice;
It is forecast that the maximum temperature during the day (measured in the shade) will reach 30-31 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature at night will be around 18 degrees Celsius.
The warnings will go into effect at 13 on Sunday and will expire at 20 on Monday.

In addition to the heat, among the dangerous weather phenomena on the first day of the next week, they will appear storms with hail. The most dangerous phenomena are to occur in the following provinces: Świętokrzyskie, Silesian, Lesser Poland and Subcarpathianfor which IMGW plans to issue second level warnings.
First degree alerts for thunderstorms with hail will probably apply in the southern counties of the province. mazowieckiein the southern part of the province of Lodz and Lublinin the western and southern poviats of the province Greater Polandas well as in the following provinces: Lower Silesia, Opole, Lubuskie, West Pomeranian and Pomeranian.

The weather forecasters are not predicting hot weather on Tuesday. Thunderstorms are possible, but only in the south-east of Poland. Level 1 warnings may be in effect in Subcarpathian.
