Synoptics of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management have published second and first degree meteorological warnings.
Second degree IMGW alerts – heavy rainfall
Second degree IMGW alerts against heavy rainfall were issued for the following voivodeships:
– Warmia-Masuria Provincefor the following poviats: Gołdap, Węgorzewo, Giżycko, Olecki, Ełcki, Pisz.
Moderate and heavy rainfall is forecast there. The projected amount of rainfall is up to 60 liters per square meter.
The alerts will be valid from Tuesday 10 am to Wednesday 3 pm.
First degree IMGW alerts – heavy rainfall
Lower-level warnings against heavy rainfall were issued for the following voivodeships:
– Warmia-Masuria Provincefor the poviats: Kętrzyński, Mrągowski, Szczycieński;
– Lublinfor the poviats: Łuków, Radzyński, Biała, Biała PodlaskaWłodawa, Parczewski.
In these places rainfall is expected to be moderate, with strong periods. Forecasted amount of precipitation – up to 30 l / sq m.
The alerts will be valid from 15 on Tuesday until 15 the next day.
First degree IMWM alerts – strong wind
There are strong wind warnings in the northeastern and eastern parts of the country. They were issued for the provinces:
– Pomeranianin the Nowodworski poviat;
– Warmia-Masuria Provincein almost the entire voivodship, with the exception of poviats in the south-western outskirts;
– Masovianin the following poviats: Mława, Przasnyski, Ostrołęka, Ostrołęka, Maków, Ciechanów, Pułtusk, Wyszków, Ostrów, Sokołów, Węgrów, Wołomin, Minsk, Siedlce and Łosicki;
Strong winds of average speed up to 50 km / h, gusts up to 85 km / h, from the northwest are projected to occur.
The warnings will be valid from On Tuesday until 1 on Wednesday.
