IMGW issued warnings against heavy rainfall. In two voivodships, these are second-level alerts. It will rain heavily in north-eastern Poland from Tuesday to Wednesday.

Synoptics of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management have published second and first degree meteorological warnings.

Second degree IMGW alerts – heavy rainfall

Alerts IMGW the second degree before heavy rainfall was issued for voivodships:

Warmia-Masuria Provincefor the following poviats: Gołdap, Węgorzewo, Giżycko, Olecki, Ełcki, Pisz.

Moderate and heavy rainfall is forecast there. The projected amount of rainfall is up to 60 liters per square meter. The alerts will be valid from Tuesday 10am to 11am. 15 on Wednesday.

First degree IMGW alerts – heavy rainfall

Lower-level warnings against heavy rainfall were issued for the following voivodeships:

Warmia-Masuria Provincefor the poviats: Kętrzyński, Mrągowski, Szczycieński;

Masovianfor poviats: Ostrołęka, OstrołękaOstrów, Sokołów, Łosice, Siedlce, Siedlce;

Lublinfor the poviats: Łuków, Radzyński, Biała, Biała PodlaskaWłodawa.

In these places rainfall is expected to be moderate, with strong periods. The predicted amount of rainfall will reach 30 l / sq m. The alerts will be valid from 15 on Tuesday until 15 the next day.
