The synoptics of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management issued meteorological warnings.
First degree IMGW alerts – heavy snowfall
First degree warnings against heavy snowfall are in force in the following voivodeships:
– Mazowieckie, in the north, in the center, in the west and partially in the south of the region, where they will expire at 12 on Saturday;
– Warmia-Masuria Province, except for western poviats, where they will be valid until Saturday 15th;
– Podlasie, in the following poviats: Suwałki, Suwałki, Sejny, Augustów, Grajewo, Moniecki, Kolno, Łomża, Łomża and Zambrowski, where they will be valid until 12 on Saturday.
Snowfall is forecasted in periods of moderate intensity, causing the snow cover to increase by about 10 centimeters in some places. According to IMGW, in Warmia and Mazury and Podlasie, the most intense rainfall is expected at night from Friday to Saturday between 2-8 hours.

Expect difficulties resulting from carrying out activities in the area of hazard, including delays caused by road traffic obstructions, disruptions in the course of outdoor events or the possibility of their cancellation.
