IMWM issued first degree warnings against icing. Weather forecasters predict that wet road and pavement surfaces may freeze. The alarms are valid in eight provinces.
The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management issued first degree meteorological warnings.

First degree alerts before icing are in effect in the following provinces:
– Mazowieckie, except for northern counties;
– Subcarpathian, in northern counties;
– Lesser Poland, in northern and eastern counties;
– Silesian, in the north-eastern counties;
– Lower Silesia, except for the southern counties.
It is forecasted that wet surfaces of roads and pavements will freeze during and after rain and snow or wet snow, causing icing. The minimum temperature will be from -6 to -2 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature at the ground will be from -7 to -3 degrees C. The lowest temperature is to be in the region of Opole and Lower Silesia.
In Mazovia and the Lublin region, alerts will expire at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, and in other regions one hour earlier.
