IMGW has issued second and even the highest – third degree alarms. Forecasters warn of thunderstorms with hail, during which up to 100 liters of rain may fall locally per square meter. Check where it can be dangerous.

Forecasters from the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) issued second and even third degree alerts. It is also valid in some parts of the country RCB alert.

The third, highest level alarms are valid in the following provinces:

Lesser Polandin the following poviats: Nowy Sącz, Nowy Sącz, Gorlice;

Subcarpathianin the following districts: Jasło, Krosno, Krosno, Strzyżów.

Thunderstorms are forecast, accompanied by heavy rainfall in places with a total of 80 liters per square meter, locally about 100 liters per square meter. and gusts of wind reaching speeds of up to 90 kilometers per hour. Large hail will fall in places.

The warning will be valid until 21 on Friday.

Orange alerts for thunderstorms with hail have also been issued in parts of the country. It will be particularly dangerous in the following voivodeships:

Lublinin the south of the voivodship;

Subcarpathian, in counties located in the eastern part of the region.

Thunderstorms are forecast, which in some places will be accompanied by very heavy rainfall up to 35-50 l/sqm. and wind gusts up to 90 km/h. Hail will fall locally.

The warnings will be in effect until 21 on Friday.
