Than Brygida, carrying snowstorms with him, reached Poland. Snowfall Saturday evening and Sunday the strongest were in Podkarpacie, Lesser Poland, Świętokrzyska Land and Lubelszczyzna. During the day, the snowstorm zone moved north and west.
It may also rain on Monday, but not as intensely as in the last few hours.
IMGW alerts of the second degree – heavy snowfall
Forecasters from the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management issued a second degree warning against heavy snowfall. Valid in the province warmińsko-mazurskiein its western counties.
Snowfall of moderate intensity is forecast, with heavy periods causing in some places an increase in snow cover by 15 cm to 25 cm.
The warnings will be in effect from 6am on Monday until 6am on Tuesday.
IMGW alerts of the first degree – heavy snowfall
Lower level warnings against heavy snowfall have been issued for the following provinces:
– Podlaskiecounties: Sejny, Suwałki, Suwalki;
– warmińsko-mazurskiefor the eastern part of the voivodship;
– Opolein the district of Nysa.
In these regions, snowfall is expected, resulting in an increase in snow cover of 10 to 15 cm, in places up to 20 cm.
In Lower Silesia and Opole, the alarms will go into effect at midnight. Warnings will be in effect in all regions until 10:00 p.m. 12 on Monday.
