IMGW alerts – strong wind. First degree warnings. Gusts can reach speeds of up to 85 kilometers per hour

Forecasters of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) issued meteorological warnings and a threat forecast.

There will be strong gusts of wind in places on Friday night. IMGW alerts ahead of them will concern the following voivodeships:

– West Pomeranianand specifically the Sławno county;

– Pomeranianfor the counties: Słupsk, Lębork, Wejherowo, Puck, GdyniaSopot, Gdańsk and Nowodworski.

A strong, westerly wind with an average speed of 25 to 35 km / h is forecast, locally up to 45 km / h. In gusts, it can reach speeds of up to 75 km/h, and locally up to 85 km/h.

Alerts will expire at 2 on Saturday.

The IMGW alert forecast for Saturday is also in effect. First stage strong wind alerts may be issued for the following provinces:

– Pomeranian and cover the counties: Słupsk, SlupskLębork, Wejherowo, Puck, Gdynia, SopotGdańsk, Gdańsk, Nowy Dwór;

– West Pomeranianin coastal poviats;

– warmińsko-mazurskie;

– Podlaskiein northern counties.
