IMGW warns the northern regions of the country. Stronger gusts of wind will be a threat in the coming hours. On Saturday, travel in some regions will be difficult due to icing.

Forecasters of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) issued meteorological warnings and a threat forecast.

IMGW alerts of the first degree – strong wind

There will be strong gusts of wind in places on Friday night. IMGW alerts ahead of them will concern the following voivodeships:

West Pomeranianand specifically the Sławno county;

Pomeranianfor the counties: Słupsk, Lębork, Wejherowo, Puck, GdyniaSopot, Gdańsk and Nowodworski.

A strong, westerly wind with an average speed of 25 to 35 km / h is forecast, locally up to 45 km / h. In gusts, it can reach speeds of up to 75 km/h, and locally up to 85 km/h.

Alerts will expire at 2 on Saturday.
