It will be hot in south-eastern Poland on Monday. The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management issued second-level warnings for six voivodeships.
Forecasters of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) issued second-level weather warnings on a three-point ascending scale.
IMGW alerts of the second degree – heat
Second degree heat warnings are in force in the following provinces:
– Lodzin the district of Radomsko;
– Silesianexcept for southern poviats;
– Lesser Polandoutside the following counties: Sucha, Nowy Targ, Tatrzański, Nowy Sącz, Nowy SaczGorlice;
– Lublinin the counties: Kraśnik, Janów, Biłgoraj, Zamość, ZamośćTomaszów, Hrubieszów.
The maximum temperature during the day will be between 30 and 32 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature at night will be between 18 and 20 degrees Celsius.
The warnings will remain in effect until 8 p.m. on Monday.

What is the second degree IMGW meteorological warning
The first degree warning predicts the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena causing large material losses and a threat to health and life. Dangerous phenomena or the effects of their occurrence strongly limit the conduct of business. Expect disruptions in daily functioning. Great caution is recommended, the need to follow messages and the development of the weather situation. Follow all instructions issued by the emergency services in an emergency. Adapt your plans to weather conditions.
